I'm Going to Try

Okay, let's be honest.  I have no idea what to write for my first entry.  I suppose, if I did a search of all things first-blog-post-sentences, I'd find no less than a gazillion that start with the same exact thought I just wrote.  So much for making that first stand-out-from-the-crowd impression.

So why today?  Well, it could be because I have the time (insert will-NOT-whine-about-lost-job reminder here), it could be because I have 3 children running around the house (note, I only claim one as mine) and I need to escape to the computer and pretend I'm actually working to reinforce the QUIET TIME I just imposed, it could be because a Ms. Katie Haile, who shall remain nameless, hasn't written in over a month and I choose on any given day to live vicariously though her words, of simply because I have an usual need to use hyphens today (she states after noticing there are already 12 used in less than 9 lines).

Whatever the reason, I'm here and will do my best to share my funny stories, observations, sports and marketing talk, highs and lows and idiosyncrasies, and everything in between.

Today's Champagne Bubble is filled with STRENGTH - strength to keep smiling and know, as Jeremy kindly reminded me this morning, that God has a plan for everything.

What are my Three Words?

During the 4.13.19 gathering of #734IGLIVE (live on Instagram every Saturday at 7:34 a.m. CT) we talked a lot about words. Not the word we were using to speak with, but the words that define us. What are those words that drive you? That inspire you? That are the pillars supporting you each and every day? I haven't been able to shake this conversation. It's self-reflection and that's hard.
